Your New Smile
From start to finish, the process is customized to your needs and desires. The MDCS team takes the time to truly understand your goals and together, we choose the length, color, texture, shape and other characteristics of your crowns to complement your facial features and give you the results you want. Your doctor will show you a mock-up of what your smile will look like after treatment, listen to your feedback and ensure it’s perfect.
First Appointment
At your first appointment, Dr. Gutierrez will numb the treatment area. We can also offer sedation options so you can kick back and relax while we get to work. Once you’re numb, we prepare the teeth by trimming them down. We’ll take impressions, which are sent to the dental lab. While your permanent crowns are being created, we place temporary crowns to protect your teeth and ensure you look great.
Second Appointment
At your second appointment, we’ll remove your temporary crowns and replace them with your new ones. Your dentist will make adjustments for a comfortable fit and natural look before permanently bonding them to your teeth. Simply brush and floss as you normally would and stay on top of your regular dental exams and cleanings and your stunning, esthetic crowns will last for decades.
